Overview
Founded in 1946, the American Marketing Association-Milwaukee Chapter is the longest standing association of marketing professionals in the state of Wisconsin. As an affiliate of the American Marketing Association International, AMA Milwaukee provides continuing learning and education opportunities on cutting-edge technologies, trends and marketing resources; educational publications; networking opportunities with other local and national business leaders; professional marketing certification; and volunteer and professional advancement opportunities.
AMA Milwaukee’s 250-plus members are invited to monthly educational programs featuring well-known and respected newsmakers and marketing professionals who provide attendees with timely marketing information and case studies. These events and additional social events provide networking opportunities locally. We publish MarketMakers, a quarterly newsletter, as well as other ongoing communications to keep our members informed. Annually, we sponsor the Excellence in Marketing Awards showcasing the best case studies in southeastern Wisconsin.
And, AMA internationally offers proprietary information on its Web site, including case studies, research, book reviews, members-only discounts and more. It publishes Marketing News, a bi-weekly publication, as well as a variety of journals, including The Journal of Marketing, The Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Health Services, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and Journal of International Marketing. The AMA also sponsors over 75 national conferences and seminars and other Web-based learning opportunities.
